Chrome & Clutter Retro Festival

Chrome and Clutter Retro Festival is a fabulous 3-day community festival of all things retro, with drive-in movies, music, classic cars, markets and more, held at the Laidley Showgrounds from June 25 to 27, 2021.

Turn back the clock for a weekend of nostalgic events and activities like a night at the Drive-In Theatre - just bring your own blankets and pillows and settle in.

On Saturday, the festival kicks off bright and early at 8am, with music and classic cars, with prize money for the top ten cars. There'll also be a Pin-up Comp, guaranteed to surprise you with the glamour on display, and a tattoo comp full of interesting body art.

Browse the markets for a bounty of trash, treasure and retro-themed wares, and check out the garage sales. There's also a swap meet run by the local Historical Society.

And, on both days, you can jive to the sounds of live bands.

On Sunday, you can take part in the Partner and Pets get Dressed Comp, as well as The Open Class Cars and the Vintage Caravans with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes on offer.

Need to know - Dancing and live music, Swap Meet market stalls, bar and food are all available on both days.
