Winter On The Water At The Gold Coast

With the abundance of warm winter sunshine on the Gold Coast it's time to get out and enjoy the water, be it the surf, sea or tranquil waterways for which the coast is famous. Here are a host of fantastic activities that the whole family will love, from riding the aquaduck to learning to surf:

Amphibious Adventure

The fun begins in Cavill Avenue when you board the amphibious vehicle and drive past the city landmarks. Kayaking

Explore the Gold Coast waterways, islands and secret beaches by kayak - the perfect on-water adventure for the whole family. With Seaway Kayaking or Australian Kayaking Adventures you can paddle your way to Wave Break Island via the Broadwater's stunning sandbanks or extend the journey to South Stradbroke Island. Spot stingrays, dolphins, turtles and colourful tropical fish on the way.
