Ling Ling's Bar
Fortitude Valley
Ling Ling's Bar is a lively subterranean late night Asian bar and eatery located in the basement of the old Sun newspaper building in Fortitude Valley.

Take the green steps down to a bustling lantern and neon lit place where you'll find soup bowl cocktails, Pan Asian street food, craft beer towers and premium wines, as well as DJs, karaoke, arcade games, pool tables and more.

On the food menu are small bites like Buddha or Heya's cheeseburger spring rolls, Samurai fries (with nori salt and sriracha mayo), pork fun buns, Emperor's Toast (king prawn and scallop toast), sweet chilli lime karaage chicken, Fook Yu salt and pepper tofu, Wang's shallot pancake and house speciality Ling Ling You Forgot Your Dumplings (prawn & scallop, prawn & ginger, veggie gyoza or pork & chive wontons). All of these are available until close.

For 'Sum Ting Not So Small' there's Kung Fu eggplant (stir-fried eggplant with kipfler potatoes, capsicum, garlic & mung beans), Bang Bang lamb ribs, Ling Ling's pineapple fried rice, 1" punch chilli lemon chicken and Hardcore Asian prawn. These larger dishes are available until 10pm. Thee's also a dessert of deep fried apple dumplings with mango ice-cream, spiced coconut syrup and crushed nuts.

The drinks menu is a match for the food, starting with the luscious house signature cocktails - Asian Bubble, Mango Sticky Rice, Fortune Cookie, Shisho Fine and Tokyo Drift. There are also Teapot Cocktails for 2 and Soup Bowl cocktails for 3-5 people. Otherwise a small range of classics include Mojito, Espresso Martini, Aperol Spritz, Margarita and Cosmopolitan.

For beer drinkers there's Tsing Tao, Tsing Tao Tallie, Asahi, Bintang, Corona or Stone & Wood Pacific Ale by the bottle and Tiger, Ling Ling's Lager, Two Suns, Kaiju Crush Tropical Ale, Asahi and Balter XPA available by the schooner, pint or 2 litre tower.

Nice to know - Ling Ling's has some great function space options, ranging from the Emperor's Table (seated groups 8-10) to the Lounge Den (seated 36, standing 50) and Hawker's Alley (seated 30, standing 50).
