Holiday Fun at State Library of Queensland
These school holidays, come to the State Library of Queensland to explore sustainability with a twist and discover new ways to have fun! Enjoy hands-on activities and playful experiences for all ages from December 13 to January 27.

Drop in any day of the school holidays to Make it, change it, save it, presented by State Library of Queensland and developed in collaboration with Reverse Garbage Queensland for a loose parts experience like no other. Construct robots, build cool creations and create your own playful worlds using repurposed objects of all kinds.
Be sure to visit e-Galaxy, a free interactive public art experience that will inspire you to think about the impact of technology on our lives, humanity, and the natural world!

Pop into kuril dhagun where you can experience the vibrant world of Deaf in dance showcase and create your own portrait. Plus, enjoy a Scavenger hunt and cozy Reading room for the perfect blend of exploration and relaxation at your own pace.

From Wednesday 8 January, you can enjoy an exciting series of immersive workshops. Celebrate First Nations culture in free Cultural Collaborations sessions, where new creative mediums are explored each day.

Let your nose become your paint brush at the inclusive disability-led Sniffing colours activity and pull apart old electronics to make beautiful sculptures at the Transforming e-waste workshops.
