All-day breakfast fare includes traditional dishes like eggs benny served on sourdough with roasted tomato and feta and chive rosti, French toast with bananas and berries, ice cream, whipped cream and maple syrup, and brekkie wraps filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, spinach and cheese.

Carpe Diem Fairfield

Stand-out dishes from the signature menu are avocado bruschetta, popcorn chicken waffles and huevos – a hearty, rustic breakfast of Spanish chorizo, cannellini beans, tomatoes, goat’s cheese and baked eggs.

A kid’s menu consists of bacon, eggs and toast, seasonal fruit salad and honey yoghurt, and pancakes with fresh fruit, ice-cream and maple syrup.

Besides coffee, there are scrumptious milkshakes and smoothies plus fresh juices made to order.

Nice to know – The lovely orchids and lush greenery on display in the café are all for sale.
