THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE.

This excellent introduction to the art world takes place at either GOMA or the Queensland Art Gallery depending on the current theme, which changes every eight weeks.

Designed especially for children aged 18 months to 4 years, these 45 minute ‘workshops’ incorporate looking at some pieces of the gallery’s works and drawing or making pictures or installations (in a dedicated room or outside) in keeping with what has been seen. Often music is incorporated and all materials are supplied, while those conducting the sessions are art-trained.

Past themes have included Japanese gardens and Opus (the QAG Robert Riddel sculpture) and due to high demand attendance is limited to one session per eight weeks.
