Ipswich Children's Library

Ipswich

Updated: Jul 05, 2021

Ipswich Children's Library, the first of its kind in Queensland, is a state-of the-art library dedicated to kids aged 0-12 years, in the revamped Nicholas St precinct in Ipswich CBD.

The stunning, purpose-built space, designed especially for kids, has 35,000+ children's books and features two life-sized dinosaurs hanging from the ceiling.

There's also multi-reality interactive experiences, along with a host of regular, child-focussed programs and events and special tech adventures just for kids!

Good to know - While you're there, make a day of it by visiting the fantastic dedicated kids section of the Ipswich Art Gallery, located in the same precinct.

Need to know - You can access 3 hours free secure, undercover car parking on Monday to Friday and all day free parking on weekends in the car park just off Bremer St.
