Common Vice
New Farm
Common Vice is a laid-back neighbourhood eatery and bar on a leafy New Farm corner, serving up a delicious eclectic Pan Asian food menu to share.
Occupying the red brick building that was formerly home to gastropub Bitter Suite. Common Vice offers plenty of al fresco covered seating, while inside is divided into a casual lounge bar on once side and dining room on the other.
On the menus you'll find tapas-style small plates like Korean baked camembert (with kimchi & baguette); 5 spice fried chicken wings; and beef tataki.
There's also a choice of spiced cauliflower; confit duck pancakes; caramelized turmeric prawns (must-try); szechuan calamari; or bao (sweet & sour beef, chashu pork or seared glazed tofu).
The selection of Mains includes Nasi Goreng, Braised Beef Cheeks with Asian veges; and Banh Mi lemongrass chicken or Steak & Provolone baguette.
There's also a couple of salads to choose from (Nam Jim Broccoli or Bistrot) as well as sides like hoisin glazed tofu, chashu pork belly, lemongrass chicken and chips with gochuyang mayo.
And for dessert diners can choose between Yuzu cheesecake or Ginger Brulee. Drinks-wise there's a small curated wine list as well as beer, spirits and cocktails.
