The Latin Shack

Samford

Updated: Sep 15, 2024

The Latin Shack is a colourful, rustic Colombian cafe nestled off the beaten track in an idyllic spot in Samford Valley.

Occupying a big tin shed that features a beautiful painted mural, The Latin Shack makes for a unique pitstop if exploring the area.

Along with a Colombian-flavoured all day menu, the breakfast menu offers a range of light classic dishes like avo on toast, Brekkie wraps,  ham and cheese croissant or banana bread.

The rest of the menu features Latin staples like enchiladas (brekkie, spicy chicken or Mexican beef), nachos (marinated chicken, chilli con carne or pulled pork), empanadas (Brekkie cheese, beef or veggie) and tacos (fish, chilli or veggie). There's also churros or Nutella empanadas for dessert.

The range of drinks available at The Latin Shack includes refreshing fruit frappes; smoothies; milkshakes; coffee, chocolate or chai frappes; Mexican soft drinks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Good to know - There's also freshly baked treats on offer from the cafe counter.

Need to know - Plenty of onsite and nearby parking is available.
