Miss Kay's Burger Bar

Springwood

Miss Kay’s Burger Bar brings a real taste of America to Logan with its opening at Springwood Shopping Mall.

Polished concrete floors, neon lights and cheesy American films enhance the feeling that you’re in New York City rather than downtown Springwood.

The popular American-style eatery has already won legions of burger-loving fans in the CBD and Mitchelton, and now it’s the southside’s turn to see what all the fuss is about.

Opting not to mess with success, Miss Kay’s Springwood offers the same menu as its sibling stores. That gives you 10 flavour-packed burgers to choose from (including beef chicken and vegetarian options), as well as some classic American sides (think onion rings, loaded fries and fried chicken wings) and some decadently-delicious milkshakes and soda pop spiders. In true American style, there’s also an epic eating challenge – but be warned: more people fail than eat their way to glory.

The fully-licensed bar is well stocked with all your alcohol needs, including three-litre beer towers and cocktails by the jug. You can even add a splash of spirit to your favourite milkshake for an adults-only twist. If you want to save a buck, happy hour operates between 4.30pm and 6.30pm every Friday.

This spacious venue is suitable for large groups and has plenty of seating options, including booths, bar-style tables, and wooden picnic tables (for a spot of alfresco dining).

Need to know - Take away orders are only accepted in store (not over the phone or internet), however there’s a comfy lounge area to wait while your food is being prepared.

Nice to know – There's no specialised kids’ menu, so be prepared to share with the youngsters or make sure they’ve worked up a healthy appetite beforehand.
