The Bardon Shed

Bardon

Updated: Jan 10, 2021

The Bardon Shed is a mega deli, coffee shop, gourmet and green grocer in the heart of Bardon - a real foodie destination in Brisbane's inner west.

With the appearance of a giant open plan garden shed with a covered verandah offering café and communal tables for patrons to enjoy a coffee, juice or quick bite to eat, The Bardon Shed brings a new shopping heart to the local community.

The Bardon Shed

Inside is like a spacious mini supermarket, including a sizable fruit and vegetable section in the centre, florist, deli counter serving gourmet cheese, smallgoods, antipasto, salads and freshly made rolls and sandwiches up one end and walls and shelves lined with gourmet products.

The Bardon Shed

The Bardon Shed stocks a small amount of quality meats including artisan and continental sausages, American bacon, pork belly, eye fillet, lamb loin etc and dairy products including local and imported cheeses, ice-cream and yoghurts.

The Bardon Shed

Pantry goods include pickled veges, relishes, preserves, oils and vinegars, pesto and pasta, coffee and tea as well as crackers and broths.

The Bardon Shed

There’s also a great selection of nuts and savoury mixes and more cheese and pates and smoked salmon to be had found in the aisles.

Patrons can also enjoy coffee and juices, acai bowls, paninis and wraps all day on the spacious covered verandah, the perfect spot for a before-school coffee or after school snack with the kids.

Good to know – The coffee verandah is dog-friendly and there’s also an astroturf patch below with hooks for leashing pups.

Need to know – The Bardon Shed has its own free car park with about 30 spaces and has ramps for wheelchair and pram accessibility. Entry is off Runic St.
