Glee Coffee Roasters

South Brisbane

GLEE COFFEE ROASTERS HAVE CLOSED THEIR SOUTH BRISBANE OUTLET.

Glee Coffee Roasters lives and breathes specialty coffee, roasting and serving delicious blends as well as tasty meals to South Brisbane locals.

The coffee nook is located next to the church on Glenelg Street, in a deceivingly large café space. There’s a large window for seating at the front, tables outside and plenty of tables inside.

Glee serves breakfast all day, with many delicious dishes to choose from. The vege stack is already a favourite, featuring large Portobello mushrooms, roma tomatoes, roasted zucchini, sweet potato and haloumi, drizzled with a basil pesto.

The café also serves lunch, with many salads, wraps and even a burger or two to choose from. The roasted pumpkin and lentil bowl is a popular order, tossed with chickpeas, quinoa, lentils, sumac onion, Danish feta, parsley and turmeric roasted pumpkin.

If you’re just wanting coffee (we recommend The Goods) and a cake, there’s plenty of slices and treats to choose from, too. Naturally, the caramel slice is their number one.

If you’re a true coffee fiend, don’t go past their Batch Brew, which changes weekly but the Columbian Single Origin is a delicious blend.

There’s also shelving in the cafe that stocks all the coffee equipment you may need, as well as take-home coffee packets.

Need to know – Nearby paid street parking can be found.

Nice to know – Glee Coffee Roasters originates from NSW’s Central Coast, where it has two cafes.
