Effervescence is a celebration of champagne - Champagne the region and champagne the wine – held at the luxurious country retreat, Spicers Hidden Vale, on Sunday, September 2.

Australia’s only champagne festival, Effervescence is a unique event for dedicated champagne enthusiasts and interested novices; with champagne tastings, long lunches, masterclasses with champagne experts and an ultimate VIP weekend experience.

Follow this tantalising trail at your own pace around the picturesque grounds of Spicers Hidden Vale with tasting stations set up at various points. Sip champagne from a selection of Champagne houses, enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations and French-style markets. This 3-hour package includes champagne tastings, champagne flute, and an Effervescence tote bag to hold all your goodies.

Full Day Escape  - NOW FULLY BOOKED -

New this year, a limited number of tickets are available for a Full Day Escape. As well as entry to the Champagne Trail, guests will be treated to two 1-hour champagne masterclasses and delicious 3-course truffle and champagne lunch.

Lazy Long Lunch   - NOW FULLY BOOKED -

This special Sunday long lunch includes a 3-course menu, with each delicious dish prepared by a superstar chef (distinguished French chef, Bruno Loubet, former MasterChef contestant and chef, Danielle Dixon, and Spicers’ own, Ash Martin), matched with champagne, and enjoyed with Spicer’s stunning scenery as the backdrop. Afterwards, guests can discover the Champagne Trail at their leisure.

Luxe Lounge Prestige Cuvee Tastings  - NOW FULLY BOOKED -

Guests can add a Prestige Cuvee Tasting to their package with three prestige tastings to choose from, each complemented with canapes.

Getting There

New for 2018 – Entry-only passes for designated drivers are available for just $5pp. This will enable entrants to enjoy live music, watch cooking demos, visit the markets and purchase food and drink on site.

Need to know – Effervescence has organised return bus transfers from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba, from $30 return. These fill fast so don't delay!
