Avenue Q

Brisbane Arts Theatre

Avenue Q is an adults-only, politically-incorrect musical comedy with a cast of quirky puppets plus a few humans, showing at the Brisbane Arts Theatre from November 10 to December 22.

Written by Jeff Whitty, Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon), this Tony Award-winning musical returns to Brisbane Arts Theatre after four sell-out seasons and a hugely successful regional tour in 2017.

Avenue Q, Brisbane Arts Theatre

Hysterical from start to finish, this is Sesame Street for grown-ups, with loveable, foul-mouthed muppets who sing, dance, fight, make up and make out.

The characters (puppet and human) are young adults who face real-world adult problems such as unemployment, relationship problems and addictions.

Fresh out of college and cash, Princeton moves into a run-down New York apartment on Avenue Q where adults, puppets and monsters live in harmony, well mostly.

Weird and wonderful with catchy ditties and a multi-talented cast, this modern musical is a must-see.
