Tommy Smith Cafe
Marburg
TOMMY SMITH CAFE HAS MOVED INSIDE WOODLANDS OF MARBURG AND IS NOW OPERATING UNDER THE SUGARMILL CAFE & RESTAURANT.
Tommy Smith Cafe sits within the elegant surrounds of Woodlands of Marburg, a sprawling 250 acre historic estate conveniently located mid-way between Brisbane and Toowoomba.
The pioneer-style cafe is aptly named after Thomas Smith, who originally built the Woodlands mansion in 1889.
The pioneer-inspired cafe, with views overlooking the Marburg Valley and surrounded by old world country charm, is fully licensed so visitors can enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful vista.
Tommy Smith Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, and, once a month, High Tea, which is served in the gardens of Woodlands of Marburg mansion. The cafe also offers a fine selection of beer and wines.
Tommy Smith Cafe also serve their own locally roasted Tommy Smith Coffee, Mary Stuart Tea (cleverly named after Tommy Smith's wife) as well as a selection of sweet treats including freshly baked scones, pancakes and muffins.
Interestingly, the furniture at Tommy Smith Cafe is supplied on consignment from nearby Scotland Yard Antiques and all items including tables, lounges and collectables are available for purchase.
Need to know - Parking is available onsite at Woodlands Estate and Tommy Smith Cafe is located behind the grand mansion itself.
