Dahlesque is an unmissable music concert for kids and adults alike inspired by Roald Dahl's classic stories, playing at QPAC on Thursday, May 30.

Dahlesque, QPAC, Brisbane

Master storyteller, Roald Dahl, has captured the imagination of millions of readers all over the world. This delightful concert captures that magic with music inspired by Dahl’s works including songs from Tim Minchin and Dennis Kelly’s smash-hit musical Matilda, the whimsical Gene Wilder movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the 2010 musical James and the Giant Peach, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman’s current West End hit musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the James Bond theme “You Only Live Twice” and more.

Dahlesque, QPAC, Brisbane

Featuring the exceptional Elise McCann (2016 Helpmann Award winner for her role as Miss Honey in the hit musical Matilda) accompanied by the incredible Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, Dahlesque is outrageous, uplifting, playful and naughty storytelling at its best.
