Brisbane Marriott Hotel 21st Birthday

Brisbane Marriott Hotel is celebrating its 21st birthday with the unveiling of its stunning $20m refurbishment and some super deals for guests to experience the plush reimagined rooms and amenities.

The extensive redesign has transformed the hotel’s 267 guest rooms and suites, Executive Lounge, two floors of event space and its signature restaurant, reinventing the experience of the landmark hotel whilst still giving travellers the warm welcome for which is is known.

Striking guest room interiors are set in neutral tones that recall the surrounding nature, from the bark-toned headboard to the grey walls and deep earthy brown details that were inspired by Brisbane’s parks and forests. Textured soft furnishings contrast beautifully against historic marble, which has been restored and renewed in the new guest room design

Guest rooms are also fitted with the latest technology, including ASSO ABLOY Orion system, a technical inclusion that controls the lighting and air conditioning in each of the hotel’s rooms, elevating the guest experience. The addition of this advanced technology enables front desk staff to conveniently adjust lighting and air conditioning upon guest check-in to ensure a welcoming first impression.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Motion Dining is a convivial space that has been redesigned to include an array of dining offerings and settings - diners can be seated at tables overlooking the Grill, sit at high tables in M Bar or enjoy alfresco dining overlooking the river on MDeck. Helmed by award-winning Executive Chef Peter Iwanczyk, Motion Dining’s menu showcases the best locally-sourced ingredients, including some of the freshest Queensland prime steaks, oysters and the finest local seafood, while the Friday and Saturday night seafood buffet captures the essence of Queensland dining.
