Bishamon Japanese Restaurant

Spring Hill

Bishamon Japanese Restaurant is a Japanese eating house cosily ensconced in a quaint 1890’s two-storeyed shop in Spring Hill.

With two small dining rooms separated by an exposed sandstock wall as well as a leafy courtyard open for lunch dining, in the evenings both rooms fill quickly with predominantly Japanese clientele so it is advisable to book.

Diners can choose from the shabu shabu (wagyu beef or pork hotpot) or the wide selection of teppanyaki - the menu offers a wide selection of well-priced dishes featuring chazuke (rice and salmon or meat with a homemade vegetable and chicken soup stock), Japanese salads (soba, tofu, seaweed or salmon)and udon. There’s a small range of sushi although here it takes a back seat to the sizzling and the fried.
