The multi award-winning Muriel's Wedding the Musical is coming to QPAC from September 19 and due to popular demand, new seats have been added.

Muriel's Wedding

Based on PJ Hogan’s hilarious Australian film, this theatrical version was updated by the writer himself, with music and lyrics by award-winning songwriters Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall, plus catchy tunes by Swedish supergroup ABBA.

This highly-acclaimed Australian musical, produced by Global Creatures, has won 5 Helpmann Awards, an Awgie Award, and an ARIA Award nomination since its world premiere in Sydney in 2017. Now it's Brisbane's turn to witness this cheeky, iconic comedy come to life on stage.

Leading the all-star cast is newcomer Natalie Abbott as much-loved Muriel Heslop from Porpoise Spit, and Queenslander Stefanie Jones (Les Misérables, The Sound of Music) playing Muriel’s best friend Rhonda.
