BVAC Summer Pop Up

Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

A huge selection of locally-made arts and crafts will be on offer when the Brisbane Visual Arts Community (BVAC) holds its magical Summer Pop-Up Shop at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Auditorium on the weekend of November 30 and December 1.

BVAC Summer Pop Up

Over 50 local artists from 13 Brisbane art and craft groups will be coming together to showcase their 100% locally-made wares. Hand-crafted items on offer will include pottery, wooden bowls, wearable textiles, unique jewellery, accessories, glass art, porcelain art, hand-woven textiles, plus original paintings, drawings and sculptures. Visitors will also have a chance to meet and talk to the artists and score themselves a one-of-a-kind gift.

BVAC Summer Pop Up

Nice to know - BVAC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to nurturing Brisbane’s community art scene. BVAC’s Tarragindi Arts Hub provides low-cost home space for its member organisations, as well as workshop, storage and meeting spaces. All profits go towards improving facilities available for local artists.

Need to know - The pop-up shop will have EFTPOS facilities. Entry is free and there is also plenty of free parking available.
