Located within one of the newest communities within Springfield, west of Brisbane, The Café Kalina boasts stunning country views into a local nature corridor.
Family friendly, The Cafe Kalina's lovely staff are very welcoming, making everyone feel right at home.
The surrounding pathways lead to numerous playgrounds and equipment which will delight the littlest of family members including a climbing wall aimed at smaller children. There's also a beautiful toadstool, surrounded by herb gardens and plants with a water play station which encourages visitors to water the flower beds with their children.
The café has a menu of favourites including a lunch menu including a selection of burgers, salads and slices together with the breakfast menu which has a ‘build your own’ option so that you can have everything on your plate that you love. The children’s menu is also well stocked with a number of options at a reasonable price. The owner of the café has a long and prestigious history of working as a chef in numerous locations and produces approximately 85% of the food on offer on site, with both gluten free options and ‘raw’ options available.
The Cafe Kalina is mostly undercover and as it is elevated, there is a beautiful breeze that flows through the building. The playground areas are staggered and are within view of the café, allowing parents to enjoy the ambience of the café and being able to watch their children playing nearby. There is also a large flat green area in front of the café which encourages children to bring a ball along and play ball games and run around.
Nice to know - The cafe plans to introduce social events including outside movies and are open to hosting events from baby showers to birthdays.
