SICHUAN PAPA HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Down a charming laneway in Everton Park Plaza you will find funky traditional Chinese restaurant Sichuan Papa.

The Sichuan province is known for its emphasis on flavour combinations and spice, which Sichuan Papa provides in abundance.

There are several seating options, including outdoor bar tables in the laneway and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. An opulent, more private area is also situated inside and is beautifully decorated in a modern Chinese style.

Their food is designed around generously portioned share plates, which can also be enjoyed in a five or eight course banquet. Dishes include their signature crispy chilli chicken, double cooked pork belly, honey king prawns, cucumber and black mushroom salad and several dumpling and fried rice varieties.

Dessert offers a couple of traditional options such as deep fried ice cream, but for something with a difference you can try their refreshing black sesame gelato with activated charcoal.

To enjoy with your food they offer a small, well curated selection of wines, beers and cocktails. There are also soft drinks, traditional Chinese teas and two specialty mocktails to choose from – Lychee Soda and Coconut Ice Chocolate.
