Shared plates consist of homemade crumpets with Ceylon cinnamon whipped butter and spiced apple compote, thick slices of brioche pan-fried and rolled in anise sugar with mandarin compote and fresh vanilla whipped cream, and Crumble - roasted pineapple with a hint of chilli topped with macadamia nut crumble, kaffir lime and coconut water sorbet.

MICA, Newstead

MICA's European-style bakery offers a delectable selection of artisan breads, gourmet pies and flaky pastries - think almond croissants, apricot danishes, bear claws and Nutella cruffins - plus exquisite sweets such as chocolate eclairs, caramel choux and fruit tarts.

Good to know - Located on the open promenade overlooking Breakfast Creek, MICA is the perfect spot to enjoy a freshly-baked treat and well-brewed coffee in the winter sun with adirondack chairs provided right on the water's edge.
