Polish Club

Milton

Updated: Apr 12, 2024

With retro decor – dark swirly patterned carpet, faux wood tables and vinyl chairs – and a large dim dining room stacked with long tables, Club Polonia is one of Brisbane's oldest 'ethnic' clubs, found tucked away in a side street of Milton.

At the bar you can enjoy a fantastic range of Polish beers and flavoured vodkas that you won't find anywhere else, and at club prices.

Add to that no-nonsense service, a simple budget priced menu that along with hearty Eastern European classics such as borscht, polish gnocchi and pork rolls, biga (stew) and goulash, stars a cache of excellent polish beers and flavoured vodkas and you have a recipe for a successful night out for adults (as well as any offspring who wish to tag along).

This winter, you can enjoy a Polish Platter for 2, consisting of 6 deep fried pierogi, 1 kranski, 1 krokiet (croquette), 1 bigos (Polish stew), 1 salad and small dill cucumbers and 2 borscht (beetroot soup) for just $50.

Good to know - This club is more than a restaurant – it regularly hosts music recitals and other cultural events and on Saturdays once a month, downstairs there’s a traditional Polish market.

Need to know - There is a limited amount of onstreet parking nearby.
