Fuel & Co

Nundah

Updated: Oct 01, 2023

On Brisbane's northside in the village of Nundah, Fuel & Co. offers great food, a dash of funk, pops of color and a chilled vibe.

In a leafy Nundah street, this cafe is a stand out, with loads of street appeal. It's cute, modern and old-world like all at once and the combination is a real eye catcher. Hanging plants, sleek timber fencing and bright pops of yellow in the form of yellow wicker furniture at the entrance all tempt the passer-by to wander in. The decor here is an eclectic mix of modern, rustic, elegant and casual - something for everyone.

Choose to sit in the chilled out and leafy courtyard, on the veranda, at the timber breakfast bar (inside or street side) or inside where rustic timber tables mix with elegant seating.

The all-day menu features 4 sections including 'Build it Your way' - 2 free range eggs cokked any way with a choice of add-ons; 'Fresh' - almond and cashew or fresh fruit acai bowls; berry pudding or house signature fruit toast:  'Indulgent' - lemon meringue crepes or ice-cream sandwich; and 'brunch' = french or avocado toast or Eggs Benedict.

Coffee served here is a Di Bella special blend and teas come from Tea Drop. Iced teas made with your choice of loose leaf tea are freshly brewed. Cold beverages include iced chocolate, iced coffee, milkshakes, juices and smoothies. Lactose free milk, almond milk and bonsoy are available. A "home bake table" at the front counter is laden with baked goods such as scones, slices and muffins which change daily.

Kids are welcome at Fuel & Co, which is a good thing as the cafe is opposite a local school and well supported by the school community. Heavenly shakes such as cookies and cream, biscoff, mint slice and malteser will appeal to the child in everyone. Four legged friends also have a place here, with a water bowl thoughtfully placed in a shady spot outside.
