Tipsy High Tea
Spring Bluff
Tipsy High Tea is a highlight of this year’s Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers - a unique high tea with a twist at historic Spring Bluff railway station on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
The beautiful, heritage-listed site, located on the main railway line between Ipswich and Toowoomba, boasts 150 years of railway history with stunning, landscaped gardens.
The Tipsy High Tea is Carnival’s latest twist on a classic: delicious bite-sized eats - scones, sandwiches and to-die-for desserts - with expertly prepared Spring-inspired cocktails served in the picture-perfect location of Spring Bluff Railway Station gardens.
The not-to-be missed event, which is presented in partnership with the Lockyer Valley Regional Council and Southern Queensland Country Tourism, will include cocktail demonstrations by expert mixologists, recipe cards and a complimentary non-alcoholic ingredient kit so you can recreate two signature Carnival Cocktails at home!
Need to know - The event is for ages 18yrs +. There are 2 sessions - one at 10am and one at 2pm. Parking is available at the Spring Bluff Railway Station, and there is a shuttle bus, so you don’t have to find a designated driver. The bus departs Toowoomba from the Water Street carpark at 176A Herries Street. Water Street parking will be complimentary for guests of the event. The bus will depart at 9.30am, returning at 12.30pm and at 1.30pm, returning at 4.30pm. Don’t be late ’cause the bus won’t wait!
