Soul Pantry Kitchen & Bar
Stafford
Soul Pantry Kitchen & Bar is a bright and airy eatery in Stafford, set inside a massive shed filled with lush plants and gorgeous giftware.
With a delightful colour scheme of peach and turquoise, the cafe sits at the entrance of the popular Soul Pantry, the place to go on Brisbane's northside for plants, pots, and boutique gifts.
Nestled away in a quiet industrial street overlooking Grange Forest Park, the cafe offers specialty coffee, along with delicious food and signature cocktails.
The All Day menu features breakfast classics like Yolks Your Way, Avo Smash and Breaky Burg - bacon, fried egg, red aged cheddar and house made relish on a soft milk bun.
Otherwise, there's Wild Mushroom Bruschetta (garlic and herb mushrooms on sourdough with poached egg, grilled broccolini, edamame beans and salsa verde) or NY Salmon Bagel with Philly cream cheese, fresh avocado, capers, dill and fresh chives.
The Lunch menu, available from 11am, includes burgers (beef, chicken or wild shrooms), a wholesome Buddha Bowl (quinoa, roast pumpkin, smashed avo, fermented cabbage, edamame, grilled broccolini, garlic mushrooms, and Heirloom tomatoes), and Soul Pantry's Lobster Roll - fresh lobster with lettuce, chives, capers, dill, diced pickles and lemon mayo on a milk bun.
Alternatively, there are cheese boards for 2, 3 or 4 people, piled with a selection of cheeses, quince paste, dried fruit and crackers, or charcuterie - nduja (spicy pork sausage), prosciutto and Portuguese olives.
Soul Pantry is child-friendly with a Kids menu offering avo on toast, egg on toast, or pancakes with maple syrup, mixed berries and ice-cream. The cafe is also dog-friendly with puppycinos and liver treats on offer.
Drinks wise, there's expertly brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai, milkshakes, smoothies and cold pressed juices. Licensed from 10am, customers can enjoy a tipple with their meal such as craft beer, cider, wine and cocktails including the cafe's signature Pantry Spritz - Tanqueray gin, elderflower, citrus, prosecco, and soda.
The menu may have changed since our visit.
