Join ARIA award-winning David Bridie at Brisbane Powerhouse on Sunday, Jun 19, for an entertaining evening of quintessentially Australian songs set in our suburbs, rambling backyards, deserts and cluttered kitchens.

With a gift for sharing stories, combined with his passion for Melanesian life and music, the musician and songwriter has stamped his mark on the Australian music scene.

*David Bridie's Jun 19 show was rescheduled from Apr 1..

David Bridie, Brisbane Powerhouse

A founding member and songwriter of critically acclaimed groups Not Drowning Waving and My Friend The Chocolate Cake, David Bridie is one of Australia’s most innovative musicians.

David will be joined onstage by wonderful texture guitarist, Rosie Excess. Expect layered soundscapes over piano and rolling imagery of David’s instantly recognisable lyrics.

Join David and Rosie in concert for a melting pot of music that spans David’s career, including Not Drowning Waving favourites, My Friend The Chocolate Cake classics and his recent solo work.
