Bake It Bakery & Cafe
Underwood
Bake It Bakery & Cafe brings Korea’s cafe culture to Brisbane's southside with a selection of sweet and savoury pastries, signature chubby doughnuts, and delicious brunch fare.
Owner/patissier Eunji and her team bake everything fresh on-site, from soft and fluffy milk bread to savoury treats such as mini pizzas, cheese and onion breads, red bean buns and japchae buns (Korean fried bun stuffed with sweet potato noodles).
The cafe's cream-filled chubby doughnuts alone are worth the trek across town for, with flavours like strawberry, blueberry, tiramisu, Nutella and Oreo.
Grab and go or dine-in. The cafe provides seating inside and out, where customers can settle in and enjoy delicious brunch fare from the all day menu. Breakfast fare includes classics like Eggs on Toast and Avo on Sourdough (smashed avo with perfectly poached eggs, smoked paprika salt, feta and balsamic glaze) as well as the Korean-inspired Bulgogi Stack - house-made milk loaf topped with sauteed greens and mushrooms, soft poached egg, and bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef).
Sweet tooths won't be able to resist Bake It's Brulee French Toast served with seasonal fruit, caramelised banana, maple syrup and a very generous dollop of Chantilly cream.
Rounding out the all day menu are Eggs Benedict, Zucchini Fritters, and the Hangover Breakfast Burger (brioche bun topped with fried egg, bacon, hash brown, cheese, sriracha mayo, and an Angus beef patty).
Coffee on pour is Big Dog blend by Wolff Coffee Roasters, served along with Tea Drop tea, matcha, hot chocolate, chai, yoghurt smoothies and iced drinks include refreshing house-made sodas: strawberry, grapefruit, or yuzu.
