Jubilee Hotel
Fortitude Valley
The Jubilee Hotel, a landmark Fortitude Valley hotel dating from 1887, has had a stunning makeover, boasting a massive glass-roofed internal beer garden and brewpub, while the front public bar retains its original historic charm along with a variety of function spaces.
The main beer garden, which is linked via platforms and walkways to the heritage rooms of the hotel, features striking architecturally designed dining booths, soaring ceilings, giant screens and the hotel's own microbrewery Two Dogs Brewing tucked away in a rear corner.
On the food menu is delicious pub grub, with starters including mushroom bruschetta, Peking duck spring rolls; along with salads (tuna nicoise or grilled chicken Caesar) and burgers (Wagyu beef or buttermilk fried chicken) and a selection of gourmet pizzas.
Mains include panko crumbed schnitzel; sandcrab spaghettini; spanakopita and Wagyu beef sausages and from the paddock there's 200g eye fillet, 250g rump; or 400g rib on the bone with a choice of sauces.
Drinks-wise, there's an extensive range of Australian and international beers as well as three revolving tap beers by Two Dogs and an impressive wine list including a premium Cellar Reserve selection.
Good to know - On the 16th floor of the glass tower incorporating the Jubilee Hotel you'll find the Amazon jungle-inspired rooftop bar and Peruvian Japanese restaurant, SOKO Rooftop.
