Tivoli Drive-In

Ipswich

Tivoli Drive-In Theatre, a 40-minute drive from Brisbane’s CBD or 7 minutes from Ipswich, offers families an affordable night of old-fashioned fun underneath the stars.

Popular during the 70’s, drive-ins slowly fell out of favour and developers took over. The Tivoli, one of South East Queensland’s last remaining drive-ins was rescued when the Rivers of Life Christian Church purchased the land and re-opened the iconic drive-in.

The Tivoli Drive-In Theatre,

Every Saturday night, the drive-in screens two of the latest family blockbusters back to back on the big screen (32m X 16m). The drive-in also boasts a new cinema projector, rated in the Guinness Book of Records as the brightest cinema projector in the world.

There is an on-site café and the menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, fish and chips as well as lollies, popcorn and hot and cold drinks.

Nice to know – All are welcome at the Tivoli including four-legged, furry family members (on leash).

Need to know - Gates open 4pm with first film starting at 6:30pm.
