Extraction Artisan Coffee

Slacks Creek

Extraction Artisan Coffee is a funky roastery café found on a service road off the Pacific Highway in Slacks Creek, serving top notch food and superbly-brewed cups of coffee.

Co-owned by Heather Scott and Alex Milosevic (former roaster at Blue Sky Coffee), this southside cafe/roaster is adding the cool quotient to Slacks Creek with a warehouse-style space featuring high ceilings and concrete flooring, filled with a mishmash of recycled furniture.

Here you can enjoy a cup of ever-changing single origin coffee from around the world, along with a 'Gratitude' house blend that is 50% Brazilian, 50% Colombian. Besides coffee, there's chai latte and delicious hot chocolate made with Colombian cacao and organic panela sugar.

Extraction offers a scrumptious chef-prepared all-day seasonal menu that includes the likes of bacon burritos, white chocolate crumpets, hibiscus and blackcurrant tea cured salmon, sweetcorn and chickpea fritters and cinnmon doughnuts with chocolate anglaise.
