Lalaland Korean Cafe
Stones Corner
Lalaland in Stones Corner is a casual Korean cafe and bar serving a delicious range of 'Seoul' food, from Korean fried chicken to bibimbap and more.
Nestled on Old Cleveland Road, Lalaland is where fans of Korean cuisine can fill their bellies with fried chicken and beer. This popular pairing, known as chimaek in Korea, is one of the cafe's best sellers; dishing up fried chicken in lip-smacking flavours like honey soy garlic and sweet chilli, served along with Korean Kloud or Cass beer.
The menu also features other popular Korean dishes such as topokki (chewy rice cakes in spicy sauce), japchae (stir-fried noodles) and bibimbap served in hot stone bowls - steamed rice topped with carrot, corn, onion, zucchini, bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, seaweed and fried egg with your choice of bulgogi beef, spicy pork or fried tofu.
If you love kimchi, there's kimchi dumplings, kimchi fried rice, and the highly-recommended kimchi pancake.
Plus, there are soups to share including a Korean-style spicy hot pot with mixed vegetables, noodles, sausage and tofu, and samgye-tang (ginseng chicken soup) - a traditional Korean soup that features a small chicken stuffed with rice, ginseng, garlic, and jujube.
Drinks include bubble teas, sparkling sodas, Kloud and Cass beer, and soju in a variety of flavours. For an authentic Korean experience, order the Somac bucket that includes 3 cans of beer and 1 bottle of soju, and discover how to make a somaek (beer and soju) cocktail.
