Paddi

Paddi is a chic light-filled cafe with stunning district views out back, serving up some of the best all-day breakfast and coffee to be had in Paddington.

Everything at Paddi is on point, from the coffee and delectable Insta-worthy food to the attentive service, imported Churchill crockery and the gorgeous minimalist setting with beautiful vistas of Paddington from the rear window.

All day breakfast dishes include breakfast burger on milk bun with bacon, scrambled egg, buffalo mozzarella, provolone, spinach & sriracha mayo; Spanish eggs with beans, chorizo, onions & tomato sugo with crusty bread; and French toast with fresh seasonal fruits, berry drizzle, Canadian maple syrup, double cream and walnuts.

Other choices include Bruschetta with trio of wild mushroom & vine tomatoes, white truffle oil and garlic toum; Bircher museli with with fresh seasonal fruits & berries, granola, seeds & micro herbs; and avocado on rye (Perisan feta, zucchini, spiced pepitas, pickled turnip & yuzu micro herbs).

There's also the option to build your own breakfast, with a base of 2 eggs (scrambled, fried or poached) and selected add-ons. Otherwise Paddi offers a selection of gourmet paninis (prosciutto, basilico, salami, mortadella or pastrami) and fresh-baked savoury croissants with fillings such as cheese, vine-ripened tomato and basil or prosciutto cheese and basil.

For something light, fresh and healthy there's a choice of salads (prosciutto caprese, chicken mango or dukkah spiced pumpkin and haloumi), and for something simple, there's sourdough or rye toast with a choice of spread (French butter and jam, honey, vegemite or nutella).

From the drinks menu, as well as the Allpress Coffee (hot or cold brew) there's a choice of mocha, sticky chai or matcha latte and hot chocolate (milk or white).   

Otherwise there's smoothies, cold pressed juices (including Valencia orange, apple ginger, watermelon and daily greens); elderflower spritz, watermelon soda and traditional lemonade.

Good to know - Pooches are welcome to join their owners on the covered footpath seating , where they can enjoy a puppuccino and dog biscuit.
