Alsahwa Estate

Palmwoods

Updated: Jun 24, 2025

Alsahwa Estate is a stunning 30-acre regenerative agritourism destination that redefines the farm-to-plate experience and ushers in a new era of conscious hospitality. Its opening at Palmwoods heralds a bold new chapter for toursim on the Sunshine Coast.

The restaurant at Alsahwa Estate, which opens on June 27, marks the first phase of a long-term vision to create a venue where food, nature, and community exist in harmony — and where visitors are invited to slow down, savour the moment, and reconnect with what truly matters.

The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is led by hatted local chef Sophie Phipps (formerly of Spice Bar), whose thoughtful menu celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients — many grown onsite in Alsahwa’s spray free produce gardens or sourced from nearby producers.

Set among landscaped gardens, palm trees, and wildflowers, the restaurant overlooks the Estate dams and offers an ever-changing sensory experience — from morning light drifting over the water to golden-hour long lunches and intimate evening gatherings under the stars.

More than just a place to dine, the restaurant sets the tone for the wider Alsahwa Estate vision: a regenerative agritourism venue where guests will soon be able to enjoy curated picnics, seasonal long lunches, weddings, pre-booked gatherings, workshops, and immersive farm-to-plate experiences led by the Alsahwa team.

Just five minutes from Palmwoods and a short drive from Alsahwa’s sister property Fila Casablanca — a private retreat and farm stay in Verrierdale — the Estate is set to become a destination for meaningful connection, thoughtful celebration, and conscious living.

Need to know - The restaurant opens on Friday June 27 and bookings are now open.
