Roo Kitchen and Bar is a rustic chic family owned cafe which is open daily and located on Moorooka's main Beaudesert Rd shopping strip.

Beloved by locals-in-the-know for its outstanding brunch dishes, top notch coffee and warm friendly atmosphere, Roo Kitchen and Bar is well worth a visit of passing by.

Gourmat breakfasts include the likes of harissa scrambled eggs with avocado, chilli and sourdough; cinnamon french toast with caramelised banana, ice cream & churro; smoked salmon, spinach, tomato, onion & chilli omelette; and blue swimmer crab croissant with spinach, creamy scrambled egg & hollandaise.

From the lunch menu delectable dishes include crispy croissant with mixed veggies, hummus, avocado, smoked salmon; vegan burger with zucchini & corn patty, relish, lettuce & sweet potato fries; pulled beef & chilli pasta with garlic bread; and halloumi or pulled beef soft taco with relish, corn, veggie mix, tomato & lettuce.

The drinks menu is a match for the food menu, with a range of perfectly brewed coffee, white or dark hot chocolate; chai or matcha latte and delicious smoothies. Must-try are the house specialties like white chocolate espresso, vanilla chai or cookies and cream frappes; cinnamon sugar or ginger citrus iced latte; watermelon lemonade; and blood orange, lemon lychee or lavender iced tea.

Good to know - There is a good value kids menu for under 12yrs.  Roo Kitchen and Bar is licensed, with beer, house wine and cocktails available.
