Story Bridge Adventure Climb has launched the world's first wheelchair-accessible bridge climb! For the first time, people with accessibllity requirements will be able experience the incredible thrill of scaling Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge in a specially-designed wheelchair.

The motorised stair climber wheelchair, which is of the highest safety standard, has been customised using advanced technology especially for the Story Bridge.

The advanced wheelchair ensures individuals with accessibility requirements can expect smooth and safe movement over inclines, ergonomic design for participant comfort and integrated safety features.

Good to know - The accessible climb includes the guided adventure to the top of the Story Bridge, Brisbane history and Story Bridge facts commentary by expert climb leaders; Group Photo to capture the moment at the Top Platform and a Story Bridge Adventure Climb Cap.

Need to know - The accessible climb, which takes 2.5-3 hours, will accommodate up to nine participants, including one wheelchair user, and a minimum of three supportive companions.
