Emily Yeoh brings a taste of next-level contemporary Asian cuisine without the price tag to a prime Paddington high street corner.

The stunning restaurant bar by Emily Yeoh, a lauded Masterchef contestant originally from Melbourne, serves food to match the decor, with a concise menu of carefully crafted dishes to wow the most discerning foodie.

Customers can take a seat in the spacious wraparound terrace lined by banquettes or inside the beautifully decked out minimalist dining area with its striking wallpaper and light fittings, sheer curtains and designer furniture.

On the menu (which is available a la carte or as a banquet) you'll find house smoked salmon with avocado puree and native lime, Emily's Signature Prosperity Basket Dim Sum ((premium scallop & prawn crystal dumpling, Gold Coast prawn siu mai, vegetarian dumpling, char Xiu puff pastry, vegetarian ham sui gok (fried glutinous rice dumpling & green onion pancake) or another signature - Emily's Roast Duck with house-made pancake.

Highly recommended is another heavenly duck dish - lychee duck red curry with jasmine rice, as well as the Singapore chilli crab mini buns or the steamed chicken Hainanese style with Hainan rice.

The rest of the delectable menu consists of Wok Hei prawn fried rice or Wok Hei fried noodles; black garlic glaze coal smoked Char Xiu and seasonal vegetables from Emily Yeoh's Farm. And for dessert, there's Portuguese tart with matcha ice-cream and fruit salsa.

From the well-stocked bar you'll find everything from craft beers and boutique wines to Asian house cocktails and rare Japanese sakes.

Nice to know - The venue can be booked for groups and special occasions.

Need to know - Bookings highly recommended. There is free undercover parking for up to 45 cars (entrance off Hayward St).
