Pizzalunga Da Carlo

Nundah

Updated: Mar 05, 2024

Pizza afficionados and Italian foodies will really appreciate a visit to Pizzalunga da Carlo, home of the metre long pizza in Nundah Village.

When you're hungry, nothing beats seeing a giant pizza stretching the length of the dinner table, and it is recommended that four hungry people are required to finish off the entire metre of deliciousness. Both the metre (24 slices) and half metre (12 slices) pizzas are served on custom made pizza stands to enable the pizza to truly be admired for the artwork that it is.

Carlo Povegliano is a fully qualified 'pizzaiolo' from Treviso, Italy which explains why he imported his rotating wood-fire oven all the way from Italy. Pizzalunga da Carlo's pizzas are made with hand-rolled bases and it is a highlight to see him spin the dough while you wait.

The menu also includes pizzalungas, calzonis, and 33 centimetre round pizzas with authentic Italian toppings such as The Venezia - mozzarella, zucchini and smoked salmon, or The Nundah - spinach, ricotta cheese and pancetta.

For dolci (dessert), there is nutella pizza, tiramisu and dessert of the week (which was a delicious lemon tart this week).

In a nutshell: Pizzalunga da Carlo is the home of Carlo's signature wood-fired metre-long pizzas and is a unique Italian dining experience to be had right here in Brisbane.

Nice to know: Pizzalunga da Carlo also operate an efficient take away and home delivery service within the local Nundah area.
