Diners can take a seat on the spacious covered brick terrace overlooking Fort Lane or in the bright and cheery no- frills interior and enjoy some of the best budget Vietnamese cuisine to be found anywhere in Brisbane.

Everything is prepared fresh on site and in generous serving sizes, starting with rice paper rolls and snacks like steamed or fried dim sum, traditional or vegetarian spring rolls and shrimp bread balls.

There's a small selection of Banh Mi, with fillings of grilled beef/chicken/pork, Vietnamese meatballs, crispy pork belly, omelette or tofu and a large array of noodle soup, including pho (rare beef, chicken, tofu & veges, crispy skin chicken), clear rice or egg noodle soup; laksa, Quang's style (pork, prawn & quail egg); Crispy Crab or Spicy Beef & Pork.

Rice dishes include grilled beef, chicken or pork; Combination Broken Rice (pork chop, meatloaf & fried egg) or crispy skin chicken, otherwise there are traditional Vietnamese salads including crispy skin chicken or crab and pork/beef/tofu/chicken and Vermicelli Noodle Salad (including spring rolls, crispy pork belly and tofu).

Good to know - All dishes come in well below $20, with most around $14-$15. Takeaway is available. Vietnam House is BYO.

Need to know - There is limited on street parking available nearby. The Milton Ferry Terminal is approx 200m walk away.
