Banh Mi Factory

Zillmere

Banh Mi Factory is a Vietnamese street food eatery in Zillmere specialising in authentic banh mi and other delicious traditional bites.

The cute budget eatery grew out of a popular market stall by the same name (which still operates out of Carseldine Markets) and is the first bricks and mortar store for its owners.

Banh Mi Factory customers can dine in or take away, with plenty of tables and chairs inside for those who choose the former. Banh Mi is the real deal - a crunchy baguette served with homemade mayo and pate, pickled carrots, cucumber and a choice of filling: chicken, beef, pork, tofu or mixed.

As well as the delicious banh mi, there's some of the best pho (flat rice noodles, 24 hrs broth, tender beef slices, onions, shallots, and bean sprouts) to be found in Brisbane, rice paper rolls, rice bowl (steamed rice with pickled carrots, cucumber, tomato, fried onions) or noodle salad (vermicelli noodles, lettuce, pickled carrots, mint, cucumber, fried onions, peanuts and fish sauce), both with the same choice of filling as the banh mi.

In addition, there are tasty snacks including BBQ pork or chicken satay skewers or spring rolls. Meanwhile, for drinks there's Vietnamese coffee or a range of soft drinks and water available in the fridge.

Need to know - There is a limited amount of off-street parking at the shopping strip that Banh Mi can be found in.
