That Wrap Place
Yarrabilba
That Wrap Place is a super cool little eatery, serving up an array of bright and healthy wraps, bowls, smoothies, juices and waffles from its small but impressive store in Yarrabilba.
Since opening at the end of 2018, owners Jess and Brenden have made it their mission to deliver healthier on-the-go-style food. For this reason, you’ll only find the freshest and healthiest ingredients used here, sourced largely from local organic farmers.
If you’re not sure where to start, the staff have made things easy by listing some popular wrap combinations. While these regularly change, current suggestions include the Yolo (salad, tomato relish & aioli, sundried tomatoes, halloumi, and herb chicken) and the vegan-friendly Hipstar (salad, vegan pesto, roast veggies, avocado, beetroot, falafel). Once constructed, these tasty creations are grilled to perfection.
For those happy to make those difficult decisions, creating your own wrap is the way to go. Here you can choose your own foundation (options include hummus, yoghurt, plus a range of salads), as well as a main ingredient (tuna, chilli chicken, roast veggies etc), sauce, and any extras or sides. If you’re looking for a lighter option, any wrap can be made into a bowl.
As well as wraps, they also have an extensive Blend Bar featuring a mouth-watering range of healthy smoothies, bowls, juices and waffles.
The Acai Bowl (containing Amazonian acai, peanut butter, coconut, muesli, and a rainbow of fresh fruit) almost looks too good to eat (almost), while the waffle stack (customisable to suit your tastes) is equally as impressive. Big eaters should definitely have a crack at the double waffle stack.
For drinks, the Raw juice (orange, carrot, ginger & turmeric) packs a punch, while the Man Coco smoothie (mango, banana, mango nectar, yoghurt & milk) will prove irresistible to all the mango lovers out there.
Nice to know – That Wrap Place is happy to cater a range of events across Brisbane, ranging from corporate to casual.
Nice to know – As part of its commitment to spreading the health message, That Wrap Place is a proud supporter of several sporting organisations and the local high school. In fact, some of the ‘popular wrap’ suggestions have even been created by the high schoolers themselves.
