Botellon Tapas & Wine Bar
Graceville
Updated: Jun 15, 2025
Botellon is a gorgeous Spanish tapas and wine bar in an historic corner store on Graceville's leafy Honour Avenue dining strip.

Diners can sit on the wraparound covered terrace or at the deep green-tiled bar or one of the cosy tables inside, where the brick walls have been stripped back to create a charming rustic ambience.

The go-to for delicious authentic Spanish tapas by day or night, Botellon is also the perfect spot for a drink and bite to eat before or after catching a movie at the local Regal Twin Cinema.

Delectable tapas (traditional with a twist) include patatas bravas with aioli; Catalan roasted veges with pine nut; chorizo a la cider with mojo rojo (spicy red sauce); garlic prawns with chilli, olive oil & lemon; and croquettes (jamon, manchego, jalapeno).

There's also meat & cheese platters with 12 month manchego triple cream brie, serrano ham & salame; artichokes with whipped ricotta, chilli oil & hazelnut; butterbeans, preserved zucchini & salsa verde; Olagasti anchovies & olive oil; and grilled scallop with sobrasada butter.

For something more substantial, from the grill there's a choice of Margra lamb shoulder with spiced Spanish chickpeas, goats curd, fennel & herbs salad; Pulpo A La Gallega (grilled octopus, potato, pimentón & whipped botarga); and 300g Brooklyn Valley Angus Striploin with chimichurri.

Meanwhile a choice of house paella includes chorizo and chicken; prawn scallop, octopus, chorizo & saffron aioli or mushroom, artichoke & zucchini. And for dessert it's hard to go past the housemade churros with chocolate sauce.

To drink there's a curated wine list of Australian boutique and Spanish wines by the glass or bottle, beers on tap including Estrella and Peroni, a selection of sherries including Don Nuno Oloroso, La guita manzanilla and Valdespino inocente fino and a good selection of cocktails including Red or Pink Sangria; Passionfruit Martini; Pine & Coco Mojito; Margarita and Pisco Sour.
Good to know - The corner store that Botellon inhabits was built by Walter Taylor who also built the famous Indooroopilly bridge of the same name. Botellon is also dog friendly. Let them know at the time of booking if you wish to bring your pooch.
Need to know - There's on-street parking on Honour Avenue and Richmond St and Graceville Station is conveniently across the road.
