All aboard the vintage diesel train for a nostalgic return train ride departing from historic Swanbank's charming refurbished station.

Passengers will travel in heritage timber carriages dating back to the early 1900's hauled by a diesel locomotive for the historic journey, which passes through bushland and relics of mining scenery, including the Box Flat mining disaster site.

On arrival at Racecourse there's a quick turnaround before trundling back to Swanbank past paddocks of horses and quaint miners cottages at the base of Castle Hill. 

Back at Swanbank Station you can grab a bite to eat from visiting food truck Yomigo's Kitchen and take time to browse the shop.

Good to know - The service runs twice monthly on Saturdays. Check the QPSR website for upcoming dates. 

Need to know - The journey takes 75 mins return. Concession holders must bring valid concesstion card. Infants aged 2 and under travel for free,
