Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, Australia's premier floral celebration, will return for its 76th year from 12 September to 6 October 2025.

So get set for four spectacular weekends of flowers, food, music, and spring delights – including four new signature events!

Toowoomba’s feature parks and private gardens, including Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park, remain the breathtaking centrepiece of the award-winning festival, beckoning floral frolickers, garden lovers and photographers alike.

Weekend 1: Floral Festivities Sep 12-14

Floral Friday - the brand new event will see the entire city embrace community pride through floral takeovers – both physical and digital. Local businesses, schools, and community groups are invited to participate in this colourful celebration that encourages everyone to get involved in the Carnival spirit.

Lawn Party - Toowoomba’s most elegant new event, featuring an afternoon and evening filled with surprising floral delights in the heart of Toowoomba. Tickets and full details launch 1 July for this sure to be sell-out event.

Weekend 2: Parades and Parties Sep 19-21

Grand Central Floral Parade - The iconic Saturday event retrurns, with this year’s theme ‘Floral Frenzy’. entries are open now to take part in the Parade, so buzz to it if you’d like to join the epic procession.

Paw Parade - Bring your perfectly floral-adorned doggy friend along so they can strut their stuff in the official Paw Parade in Queens Park on Sunday.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy Carnival classics including the beloved ferris wheel, a heritage carousel, sideshow alley excitement, twilight tours, and foodie tours.

Weekend 3: Food Extravaganza Sep 27-28

FEASTival is a new family-friendly FOODIE-focussed event celebrating the culinary offerings of the Toowoomba Region and some special guest flavours. Set in the stunning, tree-lined parkland of Queens Park, discover local hidden gems in music, food and drink. Throw down the picnic rug to feast on savoury bites and sweet treats!

Weekend 4: Weekend Table Oct 3-6

Weekend Table - a new concept debuting long-table breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner events hosted across the Toowoomba Region. There will be something for every taste and every price point, celebrating local chefs and local produce in spectacular spring surroundings. A special highlight will be the Weekend Table Cake Date event on Sturday October 4, a must-attend for cake lovers!

In Bloom across four floral filled weekends: Sep 12 - Oct 6

With flowers and food a focus for 2025, those who are familiar with the No. 1 event in Queensland's calendar will be thrilled to know they will be able to spend time with friends in the treelined parks of Toowoomba again this year. Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park have always been a draw card for locals and tourists alike and this year will be no different.

The popular private gardens across the Toowoomba Region will be open for visitors from Friday 19 September, and the famous foodie tours with spotlights on local venues featuring cocktails, wine and beer will return for weekends one and two.
