Samford Valley Antiques & Vintage is overflowing with old and interesting pieces, which is what you’d expect from a well-renowned business that’s been successfully trading since 2007.

Tucked away in the blossoming township of Samford, the entrance can be found via a small car park off the main drag.

This is one of those places where you can easily get lost for hours despite its relatively small footprint.

If antiques and collectibles are your cup of tea, this place exudes shabby chic mixed with country style in everything from furniture to vintage crystal, glassware and china, crocheted doilies and linen, estate jewellery, old-fashioned bric-a-brac and homewares, to collector’s must-haves and signature one-offs.

Literally packed to the rafters, there are thousands of pieces to ponder over – and it’s easy to get lost imagining where you’ll make space for them when you get them home.

In the mix, you’ll also find there are homewares and furniture items that are new, but still fit in perfectly and complement the rest of the collection, which includes some reproductions.

There's books and wartime memorabilia, as well as motoring signage for the car enthusiast, and a host of bibs and bobs perfect for the man cave.

In the past, items have been fondly sourced from the United Kingdom and Europe, but more recently, the owners, Roline and Diane, have had a great time stocking the store with pieces lovingly collected from within Australia.

Put simply – it’s a must-visit when you’re enjoying a daytrip to Samford or are passing through as you enjoy day tripping to Dayboro, just a 25 km drive to the north.
