Woolloongabba Art Gallery

Woolloongabba

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Located in the base of a rare Federation row of shops (circa 1904), Woolloongabba Art Gallery is a forerunner for contemporary local and Australasian art with an emphasis on indigenous works and the promotion of multiculturalism.

Exhibiting artists hail from all mediums – ceramics, sculpture, painting and photography – and in between shows the gallery exhibits from its own substantial stash of works by its represented artists.

With the gallery’s directors locked into the art world both locally and internationally, their considerable expertise translates into sales to not just private investors but major art galleries and museums around the country as well.
