Queensland Multicultural Festival

Roma St Parkland

THE QUEENSLAND MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH QUEENSLAND MULTICULTURAL WEEK.

For one day a year Queensland’s multicultural population comes to the fore with this colourful diverse festival of food, music, art, craft and dance taking over the Roma St Parklands.

With some 170 cultures making up the mix, there’s a myriad of performances, activities and tastes to be had in the garden-wide day and evening program.

Highlights include the drumming conga that snakes through the entire parkland, the African food stalls, street theatre, the arts and crafts for children and the ethereal evening lakeside performances.
