Swim, play and have a fantastic day out as you visit Straddie's pristine beaches including famous Cylinder Beach. Enjoy jaw-dropping views as you walk The North Gorge headland at Point Lookout. Then it's lunch at the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel before visiting Deadman's Beach to explore the rock pools.
Enjoy a day at Straddie followed by wine tasting at Sirromet with a Surf and Turf tour. This terrific tour includes a visit to Cylinder Beach and Point Lookout with lunch at The Little Ships Club in Dunwich. After lunch, visit Aboriginal art galleries to view cultural arts and crafts before heading across the bay to Sirromet Winery at Mt Cotton, where you can enjoy wine tasting and cheese platters.
For the ultimate Staddie experience, join the 4WD Cultural Experience tour. A Quandamooka guide will talk about the island's significant areas as you 4WD along the beaches, stopping at various locations along the way including Brown Lake. Hear authentic sounds of the didgeridoo, learn an Aboriginal dance, and how to throw a boomerang on this unique cultural experience.
North Stradbroke is a great place to view Australian wildlife including kangaroos, koalas and fascinating marine life. The North Gorge headland at Point Lookout is considered one of the best land based whale watching sites in the world, not only because it is on the “whale highway”, but because it is 35 metres above sea level, making it a prime location to view whales and other marine life such as dolphins, manta rays, turtles and occasionally sharks.
Nice to know - Queensland National Park entry fees, barge/ferry fees, lunch and cheese platter (Surf and Turf tour only), are all included in these tours offering fantastic value for money.
