In 2018, Homage was redefined from the previous homestead, which was destroyed by fire, to an authentic historic barn then a celebratory return to the newly built Hidden Vale Homestead in 2020 - an exciting time for the award-winning Homage Restaurant team.

The culinary team take the bounty of their landscape and transform it into inspiring cuisine that will delight your eyes and warm your soul. Fresh honey, fruit, herbs and much valued vegetables are harvested daily from their own market garden or from trusted local growers. Unique ingredients emanate from Homage’s own smokehouse and captivating preserving room. Fragrant roasts in the ovens, over the coals of the Mibrasa grill or open fire are free-range, sourced from nearby organic farms located in the Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, Ipswich and Darling Downs.

The Activities Shed offers bespoke guest experiences such as a half day 4WD tour up to the mountain ridges with the option of a picnic as well. Spicers wants guests to take away not only memories of spectacular views, but also learn from their extremely knowledgeable guides.
